In working directly with the property owner and engineer, we evaluated the mechanical and controls systems performance, and identified efficiency and lifespan measures that would best serve the building moving forward. The solution was to create a phased approach to upgrade the building’s equipment and energy efficiency measures. We utilized the existing controls system to create retro-commissioning data, and determined several recommended solutions. The solutions performed to retrofit the existing self-contained units on the three floors enhanced the existing controls system by programming unit level controls and integrating the new units with the existing system. Kings Park is an ongoing customer and we continue to service their HVAC and controls needs throughout the remainder of this phased solution.
