In working directly with the property owner and engineer, we evaluated the mechanical and controls systems performance and identified efficiency and lifespan measures that would best serve the building moving forward. The solution was to create a phased approach to upgrade the buildings equipment and energy efficiency measures. We utilized the existing Controls system to create retro-commissioning data, and determined several recommended solutions. The solutions performed because of this evaluation were to retrofit the existing self-contained units on the three floors with a phased install schedule, enhanced the existing Controls system, by programming unit level controls and integrated the new units with the existing system. Kings Park is an ongoing customer and we continue service their HVAC and Controls needs throughout the remainder of this phased solution.
